The Twelve Principles of Animation Rap

Squash and Stretch teach the basics of animation... in song form!

This animation was created as a collaboration between members from all year groups on the Norwich University of the Arts Animation course. I took a large role in its creation; having written, directed, animated and performed in it. It was a fun experience, and I am glad I got the chance to work with creative animators I wouldn't have otherwise had the chance to work with.

The animation has gone on to be screened at the NUA Animation Degree Show, the NUA Curzon Screening, and the Latitude Festival 2018.

Within the piece, I acted as the director, and animated the first and last verse of the rap, as well as some additional dancing loops and made a few tweaks and changes over the course of the project.
