Flynn Flanders - Character Development

"Flynn Flanders is a free-spirit and an expert at thinking on her feet. Her accolades in athletics allows her tremendous strength, speed, and agility, which helps her on her quest to find her parents and learn more about her family's history. However, her reckless nature and occasional braggadocious enthusiasm often gets her into trouble. Luckily, Rockland is always there to catch her when she falls."

Character from my short film 'Flynn and Rockland in Leap of Faith' - Flynn, much like Rockland, has been developed for years prior to the short. She has experienced the most change as a character. In designing her and wanting contrast between her and Rockland, I knew that she's be significantly more rounded and extroverted than who she had previously been. Flynn also posed a number of interesting challenges and learning curves for me, such as rigging a fully structured human with fingers and an expressive face rig capable of lip sync.
